Isaac Goldbaum is a multi-faceted theatre artist with a focus in set design and stage management based in New York City. He holds a BFA in set design from Salem State University. He is the recipient of awards and nominations from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for his set designs for Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Nightfall with Edgar Allan Poe, Machinal, and The Thing They Love. Recent stage management credits include Dear Jack, Dear Louise (59E59), The Dead, 1904 (Irish Rep) directed by Ciarán O’Reilly with Kate Baldwin, Christopher Innvar and Mary Beth Peil, Golem Owned a Tropical Smoothie (The Tank), The Sabbath Girl: The Musical (59E59 & Penguin Rep), Centennial Casting (Penguin Rep), Madwomen of the West off-Broadway directed by Tom Caruso with Marilu Henner, Caroline Aaron, Brooke Adams, and Melanie Mayron, Secret of the Possible (14th Street Y), Let There Be Love (Penguin Rep), and The Heidi Chronicles (Salem State University). Selected set design credits include Centennial Casting (Penguin Rep) the following productions at Salem State University: Machinal, Rabbit Hole, and two world premiere productions, The Thing They Love, and Going to Adultown. Additionally he designed The House of Bernarda Alba and The Martha Mitchell Effect (The Stella Adler School of Acting NYC). Currently he is working on Ceremonies in Old Dark Men starring Norm Lewis, directed by Clinton Turner Davis at Peccadillo Theater.
